Personal data we process

When you contact XMK Finance via the contact form on the website, email, phone or LinkedIn, we process the information you provide.

Through the contact form we collect: name, email, phone number (optional) and the content of your message. When you contact us directly we typically receive name, company, contact details and the content of your inquiry.

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible Analytics) to measure overall website traffic, including number of visitors, page views, referral sources and approximate geographic location (country). Plausible sets no cookies, uses no browser local storage, collects no personal data and does not track visitors across websites. Data is processed within the EU, and IP addresses are anonymized and not stored. You can read more in Plausible's data policy at plausible.io/data-policy. The Inter typeface is hosted locally on our own domain, so visiting our site does not expose your IP address to any third party.

We do not process special-category personal data as defined in GDPR article 9.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the information to respond to your inquiry and potentially enter into an agreement. The legal basis is GDPR article 6(1)(b) (contract and pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest in running a business and responding to inquiries).

Data processors

The contact form is handled by Formspree (formspree.io), which forwards submitted messages to our email. Formspree acts as a data processor for XMK Finance in connection with receiving form submissions. Please note that Formspree operates from the United States; any transfer of personal data takes place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Website analytics are provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia), with data processing within the EU. Email correspondence is handled via our email provider, and the website is hosted by Simply.com A/S in Denmark. We only use data processors that meet the requirements of the GDPR.

Disclosure

We do not share your information with third parties unless necessary to fulfil an agreement with you, or required by law.

Retention

Inquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are deleted when they are no longer relevant, typically within 12 months. Accounting records are retained for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
